Aoshima have done some re-releases/new releases lately; namely the Grand Champion series of cars and some new super deep SSR MkIIs which actually have separate red centres and chromed outers, not sure if the wheels are an aftermarket item yet.

I've got the 330 ceddy and MA61 XX coming.
From what I can gather, the 'Gura-Chan' was the Fuji Grand Champion racing event which used to also attract a massive mob of bosozoku and other modified cars to the carpark for an impromptu car show, reaching its peak in the eighties. So Aoshima have done a series of 'Kyusha-Kai' style cars to recognise this.
In reality they're just the chiki-chiki racing and puchi-age racing kits from the last couple of years but with new box art and some cool new parts.
8 spoke watanabes, 4 and 5 spoke Racing Harts and the aforementioned MkIIs are pretty cool.
I think its good that they are still committed to doing smallish runs of these kits of relatively obscure cars.
Unrelated but awesome... 330 Cedric Patrol Car
