Has anyone ever seen "Tekkinkonkreet"?? Awesome movie filled with j-tin. Maybe someone can help me identify some of them. I think I spotted a old school Celica in there too.

The top picture is a Subaru 360, and I'm pretty sure the bottom picture is a S40 Prince (Nissan) Gloria.

So if anyone's caught Trigger's (guys who did Gurren Lagann and earlier FLCL) amazing new series 'Kill La Kill', there's some nostalgics that feature repetitively throughout the episodes so far…

First up looks like a Daihatsu CM (possibly paying homage to FLCL) racing to deliver a cleaned and pressed sailor uniform to the main protagonist.

That promptly pulls a Lupin III moment driving up a wall before promptly smashing into a Bluebird Coupe…

The delivery continues on bike, but the same thing happens again but with a red Bluebird…

Fun stuff, albeit with 2 smashed up coupes.

I'm sure it's been covered already (I haven't read all the way though this thread yet), but before Misato had the Alpine, she rocked a Cosmo...

A few months ago, a friend and I were at Mitsuwa and we started watching an anime that had started to play on the TVs in the food court after we noticed a Subaru 360, Nissan ER34, and Mazda FD (yes, I realize the latter are not really J-Tin, but they are pretty notable cars). Turns out the show was Detective Conan (yes, again, I realize it's not an "old school" anime, but I figured it was worth mentioning since the creators did seem to be petrol heads) and included a pretty diverse car list, which I dug up here for anyone interested: http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/wiki ... tive_Conan .
