I was a member before quite a while ago but can't seem to sign-in anymore with that old handle. I owned about five rear drive first-gen Celicas, one second-gen, and a pretty nice second-gen Supra that I sold a couple of years ago after some trophies at both shows (Japanese and TORC) held in Long Beach. And... my exciting daily driver Paseo automatic, bought new in '92, runs like new at 300,000 on the original un-touched engine, trans, alternator, exhaust, belts, and rear shocks (that's right, Toyota Service Depts. --- no new timing belts on ANY of my four 300,000-mile Toyotas EVER).

Just fluids, plugs, filters and brake jobs, and I've never had a Toyota leave me stranded.

We also have a '94 Corolla that we inherited from my wife's mother with just 60,000 miles.
