Hi all

Am in the middle of getting an 18rg rebuilt and it needs new pistons.

Currently it has a bore of 89.5 and the pistons are marked 9.7

My engine builder would like to go up in bore to ensure everything is good, so I will probably go up to 92mm bore and possibly 10.5 compression.

Who do guys in the USA use for piston suppliers for these things?

Toysport have some listed - has any one had experience good or bad with them?

Thanks for any hints in advance

I have some Venolia's and some Arias' here, though I wouldn't hesitate for a minute to use a set of JE's or CP's. All are very good quality.

I can supply Venolia's with pins/clips & rings if you so desire, as I am a Venolia dealer.

I have an enquiry in with JE to see what they can do - we use them on race motors here all the time so I am confident about those.

I have sent you a PM about the Venolia's BigSteve. Thanks for your help in advance!

Venolia builds the best stuff out there. And yes the make them. I've run those pistons in my 18RGs in the past. They're great people over there too. Make sure they throw in a T-Shirt if you order them. :D

JE Pistons makes them. A bit pricey but excellent product.

I sent you a PM with costs for both Venolia and Wossner pistons in the bore size and compression ratio of your choice. :tu:
