Hi Everybody!

Image

Not sure why I felt that was necessary but too late now. Thanks all for the kind words - I've resisted posting lately as I haven't had a lot to share. The work of late has been mostly under the surface stuff. Wiring, wiring, more wiring.

Got cruise control put in it so the drive down I-5 won't be as terrible. Working with the upholsters now to get some little bits prepped for their work. I'd guess we'll be off for body work and paint in another month or two here. So that being said, here's a first pass mockup of what we're thinking.

And Whit - this is technically our second project car. The other one can be seen in one of the photos - a 64 Ford F100 that is actually getting a cover page feature in some truck magazine soon. We got started on these cars with the intent of having our shop guys do something other than push a broom around the shop in their dead time. Well, that obviously lasted not too long and we've hired two full time fabricator/welders who also share time with the businesses that make money here for us.

Now our justification is that we'll have some advertising for con2r.com - see how i did that plug there? Now the IRS is happy. Anyway, thanks for all the compliments guys. I'm really getting the itch to get sideways with this nice weather we're having.

Thanks sir - Actually pulled the color from Toyota's Tundra. I'm not sure if its available in all the models or not but its something like 'nautical blue'.
