I heard of people uses the ae86 front brakes on old corollas and 80s corollas.
Never seen one done on a te51. What all would have to be done? Is there links to threads of this conversion on other cars.? I just thinking of sense I'm working on the car why not redo the brakes also. It damn sure needs it that's all I know.

86 AE86- need fenders, lights, rear bumper, Hood, seats, interior knobs.

Just swap the whole AE86 strut with brakes and hubs using your stock TE51 steering knuckles and top plate.

Also, you can do what I did (which is a bunch more work) and that is:

Welding/filling the holes on the AE86 brake dust shield, then redrilling to suit whatever strut you have. The only reason I did this is because I already had modified AE71 struts with coilovers on them and didn't want to buy new hardware/re-fab the coilovers, so in my case this was the "simpler" (read: much more complicated) solution to an easy problem haha!
