Subframe is stock, I just modified the trailing arms to use a 5.5" x 9.5" spring. At the time I couldn't find a spring setup that would work properly. I guess now there are a few more options via AE86, etc. Subframe is the same as a MK2, there is no need for a swap.

You WILL however want to have a new upper diff mount made. Mine was blown out and they are NOT available; ANYWHERE. I went directly to the dealership and they said no dice.

Also, if you go the cheap route and cut your springs, install limiting straps immediately unless you want your springs to fall out.

MA70 supra is not even CLOSE to a bolt on procedure. I'm sure it can be done, as I plan to do it in the future, but it is a totally different design. This requires quite a bit of fab work to graft in the strut towers/upper strut mounts and the mounting studs. Even if you did this you'll still need to convert the front to MX83 style struts to keep 5 lug all the way around.

The easiest way is the way he did it. Just look at the pics at the top of the page.

Have you seen the Datsun 720 truck front bumper on one of these? Apparently it fits very nicely without cutting. 8)

Looks like this:

Damn :)
Looks badass man, you guys are lucky over there in that you got IRS, twin light front ends etc in your X6's, all we got is ugly big single lights and live rear :(

Curious how much work did you have to do via motor mounts and engine bay to get the motor to fit or did it bolt stright in? i have been thinking about putting a 7mgte in my mx32

both are M series motors. 4M and 7M. catch my drift? pretty straightforward swap. hardest part is wiring
