Brand new all electric DeLorean DMC-12 to hit the street in 2013.

Real DeLorean´s were manufactured in Northern Ireland and not some little country that nobody has heard of like the United Sates in some little village called Texas (?) like these new ones.
Also, the technology of the original DeLorean was old even when the car was new but this is using all the latest technical gubbins which completely destroys the concept of the Delorean being a "sports car" that did not go fast and broke down regularly.
The workforce currently employed by the DeLorean Motor Company might even be a capable bunch of enthusiasts who will make sure that the body panel fitment and general construction of this new DeLorean has none of the poor build qualities associated with the original.
There is also no chance of this being converted into a time machine as an electrical charge of 1.21 gigawatts which a flux capacitor requires would short out the electric motor.
I despair.... :wink:

But they couldn't replace the balloon tires with something more contemporary? lol, at least size up the wheels an inch or two.
