 Post subject: I want to lower my X6. How would I go about that?

Im confused if I need to take the suspension of the x7 and use it. Cause SerialNine told me they dont make lowering kits for my gen, But I was on my other forum and they said its the same. So I thought Id get other opinions. PLEASE HELP!

The front setup may be the same (I don't know that for sure) and I believe the suspension the X7 used was introduced in 1983. Before that it was a full trailing arm system and I'm sure there would be differences. So I guess it depends on what year yours is.

I think you should be fine then. Could you maybe take a pic of your rear suspension for me? Then I can compare it to my 86 and tell you for sure if that's the same system.
