Hi all,

Several months ago now, I took part in a photo shoot at a private test track as part of a car magazine feature. I have just received copies of some of the photos that were taken on the day, and I thought some people here might be interested to see a few of them.

To say the day was wet would be a huge understatement! Even after it stopped raining there was a mist hanging in the trees, and it got so dark around midday that it looked like late evening. Quite tricky driving through all the puddles on slicks, peering through the only part of the windscreen that hadn't yet steamed up, and trying to get close to the camera car without aquaplaning into it ......

The magazine is called 'CLASSIC & SPORTS CAR', and is published in the UK by Haymarket. I don't yet know what issue the feature will appear in, but apparently it will be within the next couple of months or so. As far as I know, they have allocated five pages to it. Fingers crossed for a good result.

Cheers,
Alan T.

That's awesome Alan! The photos came out fantastic by the looks.

Did you write the article also or will you get to go over it before it goes into print?

Good stuff Alan! The second and fourth shots are trademark 'CLASSIC & SPORTS CAR' shots and very very good!. The few issues of C&SC I have all feature a very desirable car in similar shots.
When are they going to start including sound grabs from these shoots? ...Or even better... a DVD as per Nostalgic Hero Idea

Cheers mate,

Jim

Incredible photos for an incredible car. I think the rain added to coolness of it. Smile
